- NIagara and Hamilton are now amalgamated and the official association of the Niagara, Hamilton & District Tenpin Bowling Asssociation represents bowlers from both districts.

Your transitional board of directors have been working hard to make this transition as seamless as possible.

This will be the main website for the association. The HDTBA website is remaining as is, and on the NTBA website you will be redirected to this page.

If you need access to the old NTBA site, it has been archived and is available at ntba.nhdtba.ca.

The new season will soon be upon us. Sometime in the fall, we will be sending out a survey regarding local awards that we would like input on.

This is your association - we work together!

Slowly we will be moving archival information onto this new website, so stay tuned!

Update on Amalgamation

May 16, 2025 - Your NHDTBA transitional Board of Directors has been busy writing, editing and approving the new set of By-Laws and a new Policy Manual.

These documents are now available for download or to view online. Check the menu "Mission" and click on the appropriate document.

NHDTBA will use these documents moving forward. If there are changes that are needed during the new season, they will be made and approved by the board. At the annual meeting, a document called 'Acts of the Board' will be presented, and these changes along with the creation of the By-Laws and Policy manual will be included for the members to approve.

Amalgamation News

Feb 3, 2025 - The Canadian Tenpin Federation (CTF) has approved the creation of a new association combining the assets of Hamilton & District Tenpin Bowling Association (HDTBA) and Niagara Tenpin Bowling Association (NTBA).

A transitional Board of Directors is now established from members of both HDTBA and NTBA Boards of Directors.

Together as a team, we will begin the process of amalgamation into one association - providing ByLaws and Policies that define our mission moving forward.

By-laws have been drafted

Feb 14, 2025 - A new set of by-laws has been drafted and is waiting for board approval at the next board meeting in March. Once approved, it will still need to be ratified at the 2026 Annual Meeting. It will be uploaded and available to all to read once approved.

A new policy manual is also in the works and is waiting on updating local awards. We are looking at changing the type of awards we give out locally. As with the by-laws, it needs approval by the board before we provide the manual for viewing on the website.
